SITUATION & CHALLENGE
A Swiss property management and development company wanted to replace its grown, fragmented system landscape with a new ERP – across every division, from finance and HR to construction and property management. It needed an objective choice of provider, a solid decision basis and a project leadership that keeps scope, schedule and complexity firmly under control.
APPROACH
We gathered the central requirements across every division, evaluated the provider market and condensed the selection into a transparent decision basis. For the implementation we took on the project office: we structured project organisation, milestones and reporting, steered schedule, cost and open items across the sub-projects, and kept the steering committee able to decide. Beyond go-live we coordinated open topics and gathered the lessons learned through an online survey.
OUTCOME & CLIENT VALUE
The new ERP went live on schedule – with a complete asset register, digitalised processes across every division and an end-to-end accounts payable workflow. The steering committee based every milestone on documented foundations, and the lessons learned secured the transfer of experience. The structure and the foundations came from Desigon, the decisions stayed with the steering committee.
